Light saber for xmas? Naw...Vader Sessions

I was browsing YouTube, watching some vids of people who got the Star Wars light saber for Christmas, when it was big a few years back. Not so interesting. I kept clicking through, till I found this genius video of Darth Vader clips mixed with James Earle Jones voice overs from other movies. James Earle Jones played Darth Vader in Star Wars, for those who didn't know. I didn't until about a year ago. I've never seen Star Wars, but I still think this is funny!

Winter Is Coming

Yeah...some people love it, and some would rather not. Tis the season for excessive shopping, and turkey killing. First it's Thanksgiving, still in the tail end of Fall, but soon after that, it's Winter.

My old clunker of a car has a broken heater. You kind of need a heater if you plan on driving in comfort, and with a clear windshield. Some would say, just fix it, and you're good to go. I say no! I've already dumped too much money in to that pit. So i've decided to dump more money in to (hopefully) a smaller pit.

I'm buying a new car! How does she look?

Ways to cut a sandwich

So my friend, Dr. Josh enjoys his food. So much that he created a map of the different ways you can cut your sandwich. Take a look:



As you can see with each cut, you get an equal 50% per half. This didn't sit well for Dr. Josh, because he wanted to feel like he was still about to eat the best part of the sandwich after having consumed the first half. Voila!:



The 60/40 cut. After you eat the 40%, and go "Mmmm, that was good" you still have an even bigger 60% left to really go "Mmm!"

HAHA! Whatever. High, or drunk, he was on something!

David Hasselhoff says he wasn't drunk yesterday -- he wasn't even drinking and yesterday's drama was all a misunderstanding over an ear problem.

As we first reported, paramedics went to Hasselhoff's home yesterday and took him to the hospital -- this, after his daughter Hayley called her mom and sounded an alarm. Pamela says she was told David had been drinking and one of her friends then called 911.

Hasselhoff's people tell us he was being treated by his family doctor for an ear infection and was taking Antivert. Hasselhoff was also taking Antabuse, which prevents alcoholics from drinking. The Hoff's camp says the combination of drugs messed up his equilibrium, he was feeling sick and wasn't able to reach his family doctor.

Team Hasselhoff says when paramedics arrived David decided to go to the hospital -- not because he was drinking but to help with the equilibrium problem.

Hasselhoff's people say he was released an hour after being treated at the hospital.

Solution to my parking problems

So, yesterday I got a parking ticket...read below if you want to know exactly why...but today, I discovered a solution for avoiding those pesky parking tickets.

Next time you get one, keep it in your glove box, and just pull it out whenever you're short on change at a meter, and slap it on your windshield.

This probably doesn't work, but at least I can dream...

Parking Tickets Suck

I got a parking ticket today...

Not a nice thing to wake up to. I guess I need to wake up extra early every morning, to move my car to a parking garage, where I'll need to pay $16 per day to park until I get my space downtown. Oh well...

But at least the Red Bull fridge in the studio is re-stocked!
